Product Overview

Flanges are the core components of detachable, sealed connections between pipelines and equipment, consisting of a disc-shaped body with bolt holes. A sealing gasket is placed between two flanges, and tightening the bolts presses the gasket tightly to achieve leak‑free fluid conveyance. With their ease of disassembly and maintenance, flanges are indispensable standard components in pipeline systems across industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, power generation, municipal engineering, metallurgy, and shipbuilding.
Operating principle: A uniform preload is applied to the bolt, compressing the sealing gasket to fill microscopic gaps on the sealing surface, thereby effectively preventing leakage of gases, water, oils, acids, alkalis, and other media, and accommodating a wide range of demanding service conditions, including ambient temperature, high temperature, high pressure, severe corrosion, and cryogenic environments.
